According to Resolution  GR-048/2018, de 19/12/2018, you can receive both of them.

To accumulate a scholarship with paid activity, it is necessary that the student with a scholarship obtain some job in the area of ​​his / her study. However, it is up to the advisor to allow this accumulation. There are some exceptions: tutors from the Open University of Brazil (UAB), teachers of basic education in the public network and public health professionals may have the employment contract prior to the scholarship and accumulate functions. However, it is worth mentioning that it is necessary that, in addition to meeting these requirements, these professionals also meet the requirement of the supervisor's consent and agreement and the other scholarship selection requirements of the educational institution that offers the course of interest, because it is up to it to define its criteria for selecting CAPES scholarships.

The Graduate program in Nursing follows all CAPES regulations and allows the student to exercise simultaneously with the scholarship in a maximum of 12 hours per week. To accumulate a scholarship with paid activity, it is necessary that the student is enrolled in the postgraduate course in Nursing for at least 6 months and that in this period he is on a scholarship or without employment, in addition to the science and approval of his supervisor.

Master level does not have a compulsory subject.

Doctorate level has the discipline EG137 - Critical Analysis of the Research Process as mandatory to complete the course.

According GR-048/2018, de 19/12/2018:

Art. 12 The permanence of students in the PED may occur:
 
I – Master's students will be able to work as PED C, with a single project for a regular academic period, being able to exercise the internship, with or without remuneration, for up to 02 (two) semesters, remaining the semiannual designation, after the selection provided for in Article 10 , subject to the approval of the final activity report by the PED Evaluation Committee;
II – PhD students will be able to act as PED B or PED C, with a single project for a regular academic period, being able to exercise the internship, with or without remuneration, for up to 03 (three) semesters, being the semiannual designation, after carrying out the planned selection in Article 10, subject to the approval of the final activity report by the PED Evaluation Committee;

The signature on the cover page of your research must be delivered to the Dean Secretary of the School of Nursing at Unicamp after submission to Plataforma Brasil.

The minimum and maximum durations for the area of concentration Technological Care and Innovation in Health and Nursing in the Master's course are 12 and 24 months, respectively. To obtain the title of Master of Health Sciences in the area ofTechnological Care and Innovation in Health and Nursing, the student must fulfill a total of 30 credits, 0 in mandatory activities and 30 credits in elective activities.

The minimum and maximum durations for the area of concentration Technological Care and Innovation in Health and Nursing in the Doctorate course are 24 and 48 months, respectively. To obtain the title of Doctor of Health Sciences in the area of Nursing and Work, the student must fulfill a total of 25 credits, 6 in mandatory activities and 19 credits in elective activities.

The selection process for regular students takes place annually, with enrollments in April.

Master and Doctorate degree: the student can have in maximum 02 locks.

You are required to enroll in courses only in the semester of admission.

In the other semesters, the Academic Board (DAC) will automatically enroll you in the Dissertation or Thesis in Progress subjects.

Lato Sensu: Latin expression that means “in a broad sense”. They comprise specialization programs and courses designated as MBA. These courses do not provide a title of master or doctor to the student, and do not depend on authorization or recognition by MEC. They are aimed at academic and professional improvement and with a continuing education character.

Stricto Sensu: Latin expression that means “in a restricted sense”. The term stricto sensu applies to master's, doctoral and post-doctoral courses. They are courses of greater depth than those of specialization and generally longer, suitable for those who want to deepen their knowledge, aiming at teaching and academic research.

What is a Special Student?

It is the student who, not being enrolled in a Graduate Course at Unicamp and being graduated, receives authorization from the respective Graduate Coordinatorships, to take one or more isolated subjects in a given academic period. The courses taken by this student may be used in the future when entering as a regular student of the program.

What is a Regular Student?

Regular students are students with a Higher Education Diploma, accepted through the selection process and enrolled in a Graduate Program. Admission of regular students to the Graduate Nursing Program is done through an annual selection process.

Therefore, the regular student is linked to the Program and University, while the special student is linked only to the discipline.

It is the act that terminates the student's bond with the University. It can be done at the request of the student or by the University, when the student falls into one of the following situations:

- Performance Coefficient (CR) lower than that fixed in the course regulations
- Do not present the diploma of the higher education course, duly registered, up to 60 (sixty) days before the scheduled date for defense
- If you have no accredited Advisor in the Program
- Obtain concept D or E in any repeated activity
- Fail twice in the same qualifying exam
- Exceeding the maximum payment time established in the Program Regulation
- Unsatisfactory performance in research activities duly attested by the advisor and endorsed by the Graduate Commission - CPG
- Foreign students are also expected to cancel their enrollment due to an expired visa, which occurs when the student does not keep the data on his legal stay in the country up to date at the DAC Foreign Student Service Department.

Participants in the Graduate Student Agreement Program (PEC-PG) also follow the cancellation rules provided for in the Public Notice of the current year in which they were contemplated, in addition to the rules provided for above.

Procedures
The student must perform the online registration cancellation procedure through the e-DAC portal. This request can be made at any time during the course.

Any student regularly enrolled in the Graduate Program who does not have an employment relationship.

 

The Master / Doctoral degree must be issued directly at SIGA - Sistema de Gestão Acadêmica.

After the defense, the student must present the final version within 60 days for approval. If there is no consideration by the Secretariat, the Advisor or the Dean of Graduate Studies, the approval is carried out within 15 days after approval in the system. The diploma is issued within 10 days after approval, and must be requested directly at DAC's Academic Management System (SIGA).

Art. 18. The teaching internship is an integral part of the training of the graduate student, aiming at the preparation for teaching, and the qualification of undergraduate education being mandatory for all scholarship holders of the Social Demand Program.

The internal rules of the Program define that: Master students who are scholarship holders must fulfill at least 01 semester of the Teaching Internship Program, and PhD students with fellowship must fulfill at least 02 semesters of the Teaching Internship Program.

After the defense, the Graduate Secretariat will forward an e-mail of post-defense procedures to students informing about the deadline for delivery of the final version, which is 60 calendar days after the defense.

No. The student must be in person, only an external member may have remote participation.

Yes, according to the Course Catalog of the year 2020:

Master

  • TEAP (Test of English for Academic Purposes - www.teap.com.br), with a minimum score of 75; or
  • TOEFL-IBT (Internet- Based Testing) minimum score 50; or
  • TOEFL-ITP (Institutional Testing Program) minimum score 500; or
  • IELTS: minimum score 5.0

Doctorate

  • TEAP (Test of English for Academic Purposes), with a minimum score of 85;
  • TOEFL-IBT (Internet-Based Testing) minimum score 50; or
  • TOEFL-ITP (Institutional Testing Program) minimum score 500; or
  • IELTS: minimum score 5.0

The English Language Proficiency exam will be valid for two years for enrollment in the Program.

First, the student together with the advisor must send a letter of recommendation to the Graduate Committee requesting the inclusion of the professor as co-supervisor in the project for analysis at the CPG Meeting.

The student must send the e-mail with acceptance of the journal, as well as the article in Word to the postgraduate secretary with science of the advisor, considering that the budget for such fees is divided annually among the professors of the program.

Courses are offered in the morning or afternoon. The disciplines chosen by the student must be planned with the advisor.

Subjects taken in another program within the University will be automatically inserted in the school record. Disciplines taken at another HEI will be analyzed by the Postgraduate Coordination (after student request) and upon approval, will be used in the school record.

Yes, however, after the conclusion of the course, the student must request a pass at the secretariat equipped with:

- Declaration of completion of the course;

- Course program.

The request will be analyzed by the Coordination and, in case of approval, the credits will be used in the school transcript.
