Curricular Structure

The Master's course in Nursing received a score of 5 in the CAPES assessment for the 2013/2016 four-year period and was recognized by Ordinance MEC 609, of 03/14/2019, published in the D.O.U. of 03/18/2019.

The minimum and maximum durations for the area of concentration Care and Technological Innovation in Health and Nursing in the Master's course are 12 and 24 months, respectively. To obtain the title of Master of Health Sciences in the area of Care and Technological Innovation in Health and Nursing, the student must fulfill a total of 30 credits, with 0 in mandatory activities and 30 credits in elective activities.

The student must obtain 30 credits among the subjects, chosen in agreement with the advisor.

 

Requirements for Obtaining a Title

Settlement

Fulfill the total number of credits as specified in the course payment and obtain a minimum income coefficient of 2.5 from the 2nd academic period taken.

Foreign Language Aptitude

Demonstrate foreign language skills as a prerequisite for entering the Program:

  • TEAP (Test of English for Academic Purposes - www.teap.com.br), with a minimum score of 75; or
  • TOEFL-IBT (Internet-Based Testing) minimum score 50; or
  • TOEFL-ITP (Institutional Testing Program) minimum score 500; or
  • IELTS: minimum score 5.0

Qualification Exam

The student must undergo a qualification exam (term of 12 months counted from the initial enrollment, and can be extended for a maximum of six months, subject to a detailed justification by the supervisor and approval by the Graduate Commission) before an examining committee that will analyze the research project included in your dissertation, which must have been approved by the Unicamp Research Ethics Committee.

Dissertation/Thesis Defense

The student must be approved in public defense of Dissertation (Master's) before a judging commission constituted for this purpose.

The PhD in Nursing course received a score of 5 in the CAPES assessment for the 2013/2016 quadrennium and was recognized by Ordinance MEC 609, of 03/14/2019, published in the D.O.U. of 03/18/2019.

The minimum and maximum durations for the area of concentration Care and Technological Innovation in Health and Nursing in the PhD course are 24 and 48 months, respectively. To obtain the title of Doctor of Health Sciences in the area of Nursing and Work, the student must fulfill a total of 25 credits, 6 of which in compulsory activities and 19 credits in elective activities.

The student must obtain 25 credits among the mandatory (06 credits) and electives, chosen in common agreement with the advisor.

Requirements for Obtaining a Title
